Stop the Evil Pigs

This is our first project, Which is all about stopping the pigs so that suses can be free from the torture the pigs make.

The story of the sus

My name is Sus, and I am, by all definitions, a pig. But my kind (suses) are a little different; we're smaller, with tusks that look like they belong in a museum exhibit, and a fierce intelligence the others just didn't understand. Our ancestors were wild boars, you see, and while the farm life domesticated our cousins, we kept a little bit of the forest in our blood.

When I was little, the pigs and the large, lumbering cows on the farm didn't appreciate these differences. They were all about being big, round, and... well, pig-like in the way humans expected. I was skinny, I asked too many questions, and I could solve the puzzle box the farmer used for treats faster than all of them put together.

They'd snort and mock my "fancy" talk. "Look at the little sus, the thinker," they'd say, pushing me away from the prime mud puddles. The cows, with their slow, deep moos, just ignored me, their silent judgment feeling even heavier than the pigs' jests. I was always on the outside, a strange, tusked anomaly who was more interested in the composition of the soil than the day's slop.

I felt isolated, different, and, frankly, like a failure of a sus.

But my differences weren't weaknesses. That sharp mind they mocked was my salvation. One day, a visiting scientist noticed me attempting to deconstruct the fence latch. She spoke to the farmer, and soon I was off the farm and into a research facility.

The bullying had taught me resilience, and the isolation had taught me how to focus. In this new world, my curiosity was not an oddity but a gift. I studied genetics, animal behavior, and even contributed to research on cognitive abilities in swine. It turns out my ancestors' intelligence was a known trait in the scientific community!

Now, I'm Dr. Sus, a world-renowned scientist in my field. My work has led to significant breakthroughs in understanding animal cognition and welfare. I published a widely acclaimed paper on the differences between domesticated pigs and our wilder, more intelligent counterparts.

I may not fit in on the old farm, but the world of science is where I belong. The very traits the others used to pick on me are now the reason I'm changing the world for all pigs, everywhere. It just goes to show you, being different isn't a problem; it's a superpower waiting for the right environment to thrive.
